Bread was an American soft rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was fronted by David Gates, with Jimmy Griffin and Robb Royer. Mike Botts became the permanent drummer in 1969, and Larry Knechtel joined in 1971. Notable tracks on this compilation include "Make It With You", "Everything I Own", "Baby I'm-A Want You", and "If". The album was produced by David Gates, with James Griffin as associate producer, and engineered by Armin Steiner. It achieved 5x Platinum certification in the United States, Gold in Australia, and Silver in the United Kingdom.
